zombywoof Posted May 23, 2023 Share Posted May 23, 2023 (edited) My wife has played a 1960 J200 for a whole lot of years. So, the same guitar but with a skimpier neck carve. The reason the instrument has the voice it does though is that J200s built during this period were different than anything else out there. They not only sported a laminate back and rim but a bracing footprint which was unique to that model. So, they very much do their own thing.
