Got any old rock and roll posters?

I have some old Stones posters - my favourite is a large color one from 1971 of the Stones playing at the Marquee Club in London - just on the release of the Sticky Fingers album. It is not mint, but I still love it. Keith is playing a Dan Armstrong Ampeg guitar through an Ampeg amp.

I did throw some out - if I still had them I would probably sell them on ebay instead.

I have quite a few really decorating the studio and a den. I'm in Hawaii this week so no pics right now but they really do bring back memories and look good too. Allot of mine are the smaller size that was popular in the late 60's and seventies so they frame really well. some of the best came out of Fillmore and the whole genre.

Here in Sacramento in a local gallery we are having an upcoming exhibit of rock posters mostly of shows in the area which includes the psychedelic era of San Francisco. The show opens on what is called Second Saturday here in Sacramento, a coordinated art gallery opening event. It's a big cultural thing and it's cool to have rock posters regarded as art.

I had some classics back in the day when I was a younger man.

David Bowie "The Man Who Fell To Earth" movie poster.

Ozzy Osborne's very first poster.

Rick Wakeman "The Six Wives of King Henry VIII.

Now I only have a Marillion poster from the bands Clutching at Straws tour.

That and my framed Bradford, Jimi Hendrix Purple poster.

Just the title of this thread brought back some memories.

I used to have this cool black light Jimi poster - gave it away (before ebay).

I'm not even sure what I have rolled up in a tube now.

SRV poster from his last album - large format

Easy Rider poster (large) with the guys on that chopper riding down the highway.

I may actually have to go home and look for them tonight or this weekend.
