Absolutley, especially for medical purpose but just think about how many fewer resources would be needed for the so called 'drug war' if it was de-criminalized.

Yes. But for the right reasons - I'm sick of the arguments like "It can be used to make paper." and "It decreases CO2" and "The stalks can be used to make a strong rope." I want it legalized because people use it to get high. That said, I'm not a pot smoker. I smoked a few times, but my fifth and final time, a lady I worked with was moving and offered me a bag. She just "forgot" to tell me it was laced with mescaline, and it ended the attraction for me. I think more than enough people are using it, and it's probably the most popular illegal substance in the states. If it was legalized, I wouldn't have to pay room and board for the suckers who got caught running it, and the feds could tax the hell out of it. In my opinion, alcohol is more dangerous than grass, and it's kind of baffling why we can't set up the same rules and legalize marijuana.

This is a another one of your thought provoking questions Homz. Good one.

If we legalize it, there will no doubt be many negative consequences associated with it being legal. People who smoke it will inevitably get behind the wheel of a car or other heavy equipment. Reaction times come into play here. Scientists have shown a evidence of spacial-time relationships, reaction time being effected.

People will still be drug tested for it. I don't care if it's legal. If you work for a manufacturing company, delivery company, transportation company of any kind, you better be sober.

A lot of people still claim it's a gateway drug and will lead you to try other drugs. I don't know about that. But I do see some correlation in our youth.

As an educator, I have a hard enough time dealing with kids who are strung out on pot already (because for them the psychological addiction is evident) when they get to school in the morning and when they come back (most schools in my neck of the woods are open campuses) from lunch.

The only positive aspect that I see is the taxes generated from over the counter sales and the little guy being able to make an extra dollar from his backyard plot.

I know some people who would prefer a puff or two of pot vs. a few shots of bourbon. There's always the "Pot is safer than alcohol argument" too.

I can make an argument for or against on this one Homz.

Eliminate the Illegal Profits and Eliminate Gangs and Organized Crime.

Legalize Drugs Now. But that will never Happen. To much money to be made.

I bet most Americans would agree to legalize it, but no politician will touch that. Back in the 80s or early 90s in Baltimore mayor Kurt Schmoke tried to "decriminalize" drugs and had the feds come down on him like a hammer.

Dream on guys. I've been waiting for such since 1966. I purposely kept my head down and didn't touch an opium laced joint in S.E. Asia for 14 months 'cause everyone from home wrote telling me "free dope and free music" were on the way. Got home in 70 and been waiting ever since. Hell, I haven't seen any real pot since the 60ies anyway. It was $15.00 an oz. for everything from gold to Columbian in those days. Last time I noticed anything here in Conservative Central Land it was well over a $100 bucks for half an oz. of wild domestic crap somebody had picked where it grew along side some old highway and without any THC in the first place. Nothing worse than CBN weed. I sure envy those who imbibe and live near a source point for the real thing. I don't drink or smoke cigarettes or do a darn thing wrong, but God forbid I be allowed to roll a number of real pot and take a nose hit. I might frickin smile and drive 5mph. slower when I go home. H*ll, I might even watch the late movie or something truly wild!

Aint gonna happen here, men. =P~

When I was a kid growing up in the 70's I think an oz was about $20. You might pay $40 for Acapulco Gold or Panama Red... What ever happened to those cool catch name brands anyway??? I don't smoke it anymore, I just don't like the high... Always makes me think what am I doing with my life and I get all paranoid and stuff. Hahhaha [-o<

Those are some beautiful nugs!

Marajuana recently got de-criminalized here and the laws they wrote are so hazy that legally the cop can only give you a ticket if he finds it when you've been pulled over. If you were to smoke a joint on the street in Boston and a cop came up to you, as of right now, you do not have to give them an ID so they can only give you a ticket if they have your name. You could just give them a fake name.

Speaking of weed, I smoked a half oz. of "Jack Herrera" through a vaporizer yesterday and ate around 10 pot brownies. I'm still not sober yet. The brownies are still coursing through my system.

Come-on Man. The days of a 35 dollar 4 finger lid is been gone since the 70's. Everything is Hydro-Ponics now and Government "G" weed that's 100 times stronger than the old ****. Even a "G" weed single seed is worth more than a hole bag of the old stuff from the 70's.

Most states have already Decriminalized Pot. Under an OZ in one bag is considered "For personal use" and is a misdemeanor and or a small fine most everywhere.

Anyways who smokes the **** anyways anymore. Damn Hippies/Hop-heads/Burnouts/Jimmy Page want-a bee's/Tree-huggers/environ-mental-ists-recycle-sits/Unemployed-guitar play-in trippers--Hell-ya Let's all move to Canada-Dudeshttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KGNYM_cRMsU

They are real cool and they work so much better than all of the alternatives. It's actually least harmful too.

The problem is you get kind of tired of it after a while and long for that thick smoke that you'd get from a bong or a blunt.

We did use a Volcano which is a VERY efficient $500 dollar vape.
