solacematt Posted April 21, 2009 Posted April 21, 2009 Gibson should bring this back to their site. I remember maybe two or three years ago Gibson had a section of their ste that let you create your own Les Paul. Everything from binding and color, to tuning keys, tailpiece, bridge, pickups, pickup ring color, cutaway, etc. I think it would be cool as hell if Gibson brought this feature back. Any idea why they took it down?

DaHooomie Posted April 21, 2009 Posted April 21, 2009 They actually had that? I have always wanted to do something like that! Bring it back, or do I have to make a Facebook group?
Swmcv2007 Posted April 21, 2009 Posted April 21, 2009 There's one here that has LPs, SGs, Strats, and Tele's.
solacematt Posted April 22, 2009 Author Posted April 22, 2009 There's one here that has LPs' date=' SGs, Strats, and Tele's.[/url'] Gibson's was better than that I think. Come on Mike @ Gibson, help them bring the section back so we can have a new goofy thing to screw with online :P
TheLiveSoundGuy Posted April 22, 2009 Posted April 22, 2009 If you missed his post, Mike@gibson has moved on. He is no longer with the company. Also, it wasn't a Gibson site. I remember the link you are talking about. It was a third party site that a forum member posted. I don't remember the address for the site, but it was pretty cool.

I just went to the site that the above forum member posted and it's ok, but doesn't quite hold a candle to the one that Gibson had up. That one you could add stuff like alternate tailpieces like Bigsby's and Vibrola's.
AXE® Posted April 22, 2009 Posted April 22, 2009 I remember when Gibson had it on their site. There was another one that had massive detail.
