Dilapidus Posted April 21, 2009 Posted April 21, 2009 The 2006 model. So far I love it.. I do have the same complaints that others do. The Reverb is very different and could do with some adjustability. The Tremolo is not good at all. The standby switch pops horribly when thrown on. What I didn't get was manuals or schematics, nor can I find them on the Gibson website. Can anyone point me to the right place? Thx
Mr. Robot Posted April 21, 2009 Posted April 21, 2009 Get a hold of the book on gibson amps that I posted about a few days ago in this blog. I think it will help. Also, Gibson Help Line can also help, i am told. You may also be able to get the manuals simply by googling. I got my GA5 Manual just on line.
Dilapidus Posted April 21, 2009 Author Posted April 21, 2009 Thanks, I'm interested in the book but I haven't seen evidence that Gibson has published the schematic. The manual turned up (after numerous searches) but it's gonna be the schematic that helps. I saw a homemade one that is pretty good, but I want to see specs with it too. Damn fine amp, but it definitely needs some tweaking.
tazzboy Posted May 2, 2009 Posted May 2, 2009 What I would to see is some demo done on you tube to hear and see what Gibson Amps sound like
