Replacement bridge/tailpiece for Lightning bridge

Recommended Posts

Hello! I’m getting things ready to replace both the Robo-tuners and lightning bar tailpiece on my 2015 Les Paul Special Double Cutaway.

What have some of you used as better replacements? I’d rather go with a tailpiece bridge that has adjustable saddles for more precise tuning/intonation.

I look forward to your suggestions!

Basically it just depends if you have the straight or the angled bridge.

I went with a mojoaxe compensated bridge. Instead of adjustable saddles there is a subtle ridge milled into the top to compensate for intonation. With that milled ridge and the adjustable grub screws you can achieve proper intonation with a stock looking tailpiece
