Noob question about Fishman Piezo pickup

Judging by some quick research, it appears I have a Fishman Sonicore pickup in the sound hole of my Hummingbird.

Theres two dials on it. 

I was messing with them but cant really tell what they're for?

One is probably tone and the other is volume I would think. If you adjust them and then do nothing, why are they there.

Well yeah one is volume.  Not sure what the other is

 

First off I figured it was tone and volume like a normal electric...not telling much from the "tone" one

Is that a Gibson or an Epiphone?

Some Epi's have 2 jacks and 2 pickups and you can blend them, in which case they are both volume.

The second is used to dial back the high end.

yes. I'd say treb roll off. Keep the vol knob at least -> 80%,  and dial it back at the amp.

Okay thanks guys.  I just wasnt sure from my initial testing on that other dial.  Nothing was labeled other than "fishman" 

Couldn't really tell much from messing with it
