Only the stinky ones.

Speaking of Toronto, I have a 1947 Metzo violin my collection, made in Toronto. How freakin' rare is that? (This is where you likely tell me the attics of Toronto are insulated with them).

I was made in Toronto in '57...havent been back for a few years. They got a few nice geet shops including 12th Fret which would be a nice visit.

I was made in Winnipeg in '52... haven't been back for a few years. I live 5 minutes from the 12th Fret & visit regularly.

Wow, is that our Karen? With the utmost respect, I would say that some things in Canada are put together very well indeed. What a great pic!

Yes, Gibson officially announced Friday that all operations are moving to Newfoundland later in 2009 to facilitate the centralization of shipping to locations in Europe and Asia.

Gibson officially announced the plan in a "Learn to speak Canadian" session put on for employees who will move with the factory.

Senior executives will be pensioned off. Some will get jobs with Larivee in California, but the bulk of them will be fully put out to pasture. J45 appointed golf bags are already in the works - but each model will be slightly different.
