None of that off brand stuff either. Only the best will do. Planters Peanuts or you might as well get me raisins. And that's all I've got to say about that. =D>

Our drummer is already here for the Friday night jam. He's currently out of work and doesn't have a car so on Friday's he has to take a ride from who ever happens to be heading in my direction.

So he walks in an hour ago, looking really hung over and just says. I'm going to get a nap in. Then argues on the phone with his part time girlfriend for an hour and falls asleep on my son's bed.

He's a damn good drummer.

He's also pretty fun to be around. That is, when not arguing with his girl friend.

Anyway, I just thought that was a bit funny. "I'm gonna get a nap".

And, just think.

In the time it took to learn those things, you could have, I don't know.

Built a house.

Got a law degree.

I've learned that Rocky4's avatar has great cans but I have not learned who she is so I can Google her with a box of tissues at hand (pun intended).

I've learned most guitar playing girls spend more time practicing than most guitar playing guys (seeing as both girls in the forum are not guitar players).

I've learned a lot of really useful stuff here... some guys really know a lot.

I've learned that for a man who says he only wants to be with his fiance, Thundergod sure has a long list of women he'd do if he "had" to.

I've learned that Axe really "respects" his ho's.

I've learned that Howlin4Hubert has great taste in Kids' shows.

I've learned that seafoam green is apparently the only proper color for a Tele.

And I've learned what Homz does all freakin' day!!

When I first started out on this forum I couldn't even post a picture.

But through your help and patience not only can I post pictures, but all kinds of cool stuff.

I've also learned that even in cyberspace, hate, intolerance, prejudice, and guile can also be found.

But compassion, knowledge, understanding, honesty and love no matter where they are found, win out every time.

I've learned...

The more one know about how to play the guitar, the less one cares about the status that instrument brings.

People who feel a connection to Fender like to talk about their instruments more than people who feel a connection to Gibson.

There's more attention focused on Spelling Abilities than Playing Abilities.

For a guitar company, having an Icon like the Les Paul can keep you in the cash flow, but really hinder your ability to inovate.

Gibson has a pretty boring history. Fender's Early History is intertwined with American legends like Buck Owens, Buddy Holley, Mary Kaye, and then across the pond, the Shadows. Gibsons early history is all Swing and Jazz players, and while that's interesting, it just doesn't hit as close to home.

Les Pauls look better in Pictures than in Person, Strats look better in Person than in Pictures.

I prefer a Double Walled handless Coffee Cup over a Traditional Cup with a handle.

All Gibson has is Scotty Moore, Elvis. Les Paul, boring players.
