RichCI Posted April 25, 2009 Posted April 25, 2009 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2BYny9l20wc I think that's actually a Big Tex Tele.
Rocky4 Posted April 25, 2009 Posted April 25, 2009 They look like they've lost the spark. Like they're just doing their job
FirstMeasure Posted April 25, 2009 Posted April 25, 2009 They look like they've lost the spark. Like they're just doing their job I've seen 'em 7 times in the last 5 years. Take my word for it, they haven't lost a thing.
FirstMeasure Posted April 25, 2009 Posted April 25, 2009 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2BYny9l20wc I think that's actually a Big Tex Tele. It's made by a guy named John Bowman (at least I think that's what he says). They talk about that guitar and most of his others in the bonus Features on the DVD. It's worth renting just for that.
Jesus Is Dead In My Basement Posted April 25, 2009 Posted April 25, 2009 Living down here in Houston i actually got to meet Billy Gibbons at a Gas station. I also got to see them at the Rodeo.

Buc McMaster Posted April 25, 2009 Posted April 25, 2009 Yes, that is a Big Tex made guitar.....somewhat modified by the Rev. They are made in Houston by my friend Eric Danhiem, Big Tex hisownself! I can't say Billy G is a close friend, but we are casual aquaintences and have spent lots of time talking guitars, wood and water transfer decals......he loves them! I did the Big Tex website and if you look on the gallery page you can see that very guitar.
