Slogold Posted April 27, 2009 Posted April 27, 2009 Check my son woodshop class, I think it's awesome.
Steven Tari Posted April 27, 2009 Posted April 27, 2009 Auh! I remember my first woodshop. Learned to make a ZIP gun and spike cane.
MikeRom Posted April 27, 2009 Posted April 27, 2009 They're doing way more interesting stuff in wood class now than when I went thru school. Which one is your sons work ?

Homz Posted April 27, 2009 Posted April 27, 2009 I never took woodshop. I wish I had. I now work with my hands and could have reduced the learning curve a bit with some practical hands on experience.
KSG_Standard Posted April 27, 2009 Posted April 27, 2009 I wouldn't mind having a fishing lure shaped axe...
DamienAzrael Posted April 27, 2009 Posted April 27, 2009 Nice....I just finished going to school for guitar building.
The Mick Posted April 28, 2009 Posted April 28, 2009 I wouldn't mind having a fishing lure shaped axe... No way too many Big Mouthed Bass Groupie chicks. And sweet class good for him and all involved not enough of this anymore for kids.
vagabond Posted April 28, 2009 Posted April 28, 2009 Nice....I just finished going to school for guitar building. ? I wasn't aware there were many guitar building schools. At least, not very many accredited ones. From what I've found there are mostly just various seminars and workshops that last a varying amount of weeks. How'd you find the quality of instruction? It seems that many of the places you can search out on the net are sketchy at best.
