hello !

i'm looking to buy a Gibson Sg Left-Handed.

I've come accross this one, does it seem like a fair deal ?: http://cgi.ebay.com/Early-70s-Gibson-SG-Standard-Electric-Guitar-USA-MADE_W0QQitemZ250411863915QQcmdZViewItemQQptZGuitar?hash=item250411863915&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1205%7C66%3A2%7C65%3A12%7C39%3A1%7C240%3A1318%7C301%3A1%7C293%3A1%7C294%3A50

i'm a student and i've saved a lot to buy an SG so i don't want to do something i'll regret !

Yeah, much (although it'd look better in white + gold =D>).

Southpaw SGs, I dunno... they just look unnatural. I'm so glad my strange pseudo-ambidexterity blessed me with right-handed guitar playing (I bat, write, and wank lefty for whatever reason).

I'm not anal about this sort of thing, but the shoulders and beveling are slightly more 'traditional'. No binding also.

Hmmm. Interesting. Either way the ***** sounds awesome, that's for damn sure. Sumthin' 'bout those ol' Tarbacks that deliver a knockout punch! I read somewhere that EVH dipped his pickups in wax to get an extra-awesome tone out of them. Same principle (no ex wife jokes) must apply.

The bridges are not out (if they were, the guitar wouldn't play in tune). It's the pickup position. For some reason the early ones are like this.
