Les Paul Classic PCB out-of-phase not working correctly?

Hello Forum,

I have a '22 LP Classic with PCB. It's not clear to me whether everything works as it should. In particular the out-of-phase circuit. When I set the switch to neck pu and pull the tone pot for out-of-phase I don't hear any difference. The same thing happens when I select the bridge pu and pull the out-of-phase pot. I only hear the out-of-phase sound of the pickups when I have the selector switch in the middle position with both pu activated. Does the out-of-phase only work if both pu are selected or is my PCB board defective? The true bypass works perfectly and the volume pots for the P90 sound also work individually on the two PUs

That's correct, the out-of-phase will only work with both pickups engaged and the volumes of both pickups roughly at the same level.  The 'out-of-phase' means one of the pickups are out-of-phase with the other.

Nothing to worry about, everything is as it should be.
