rocketman
Very nice looking! Do you also have an Explorer?
saturn
It has dot inlays. The case has a plastic handle, not leather and doesn't have the lining. Those things could probably help in dating it.
Loco
A pretty shade of green.

vagabond
I'd like to see pics of the headstock front and back.... Heh, yeah... can't really do much about telling you anything other than "nice finish" without seeing the headstock. Fretboard looks weird to me, it's a much lighter shade than mine (mine's an '08, doesn't wood get darker with age?) Also, I can't remember Gibson ever doing an emerald green Studio, but I might be wrong. It is a nice finish though.

Tim Plains
Should have an 8 or 9 digit serial number. First & fifth numbers are year. If that guitar dater link doesn't work for you go to gibson.com and do a search for "serial number." All the info you need is in the first link. [/quote']The case, as far as I can tell, is an Epiphone Les Paul case. I have one that's identical.

motorheadman
Lovely shade of green, not sure about the origins of it though never heard of a green gibson, now if bono played the auld guitar, there would no doubt be a rake of them in all the 40 shades of green, but since he doesn't we are alas inflicted with having him preech axel rose like at u2 concerts. Be interested in seeing how this checks out, might have to seek out one of these for me collection.
