pohatu771
Here's a start... not a Les Paul, and not terrible wild, but it's not normal: 1983 Gibson Spirit... originally black with two humbuckers, the previous owner stripped and re-painted, and re-routed for P-90s. I'm cleaning up their modification. I've removed the spraypaint and intend to refinish with lacquer, and have a pickguard made to make it almost identical to a Les Paul Special. Tim Plains
Wildest les paul? How can you ask that question? What criteria are you using? Monster flame? Vintage appeal? Tone? What?
Thundergod
When you say "wildest" what exactly do you expect to see? My les paul is wildly beautiful... :o There was this guy that hasn't logged in for a long while, that got his vintage mahogany all wild west-ed... looked great, really kick-***. Tim Plains
Here's one that's pretty wild. It started life as a single cut Les Paul but people 50 years ago complained about the weight and upper fret access; so, Gibson decided to make some changes. It's called a BD, or something... Thundergod
Anyway, what kind of mods were you expecting man? I think some of the guys have aded tremolos and stuff like that but there are not many of them here... some have changed pickups and hardware but that's not noticeable as "mod" in a pic. I moded mine some... but it's not a big deal... here's a before and after pic (well, actually it's a "now" and "before").
