Beachcomber92
Hi I recently acquired a ES-335 - trying to get confirmation on exact date - I'm not sure exactly what information to trust out there, but - Serial no stamped 118204, no 'Made in USA', puts it at a '63 at various sites I've found - but 'Union Made' on the orange label puts it 64-69? Made in Kalamazoo. Open 'b' and 'o' on Gibson logo Feedback appreciated! -JB
Tom Hollyer
That one is a puzzle. The number clearly dates to 64. Are you sure about when they used the union made labels. Could it have begun in late 63? I always thought 64, but... I assume it has an original stop tail piece, right?
The Mick
Your guitar was made at the Kalamazoo Plant, USA approximately in: 1963 As close as Eye can find.
jmas
Why don't you call Gibson. They'll look it up for free and tell you everything about it.
