brundaddy
Well it's different from the 175 in a number of ways: the 137 Custom has a fixed bridge & stopbar tailpiece, a heavy centerblock, it has a 6-way Vari-Tone switch & the body is thinline - but slightly larger. The 175 has a deeper but slightly smaller body, it is very light, is fully hollow, has a floating bridge w/ trapeze tailpiece, and feeds back easier at loud volume. However, in my experience the neck profile is the same for both & most 175s have the same pickup configuration (2 '57 Classics). My 137 Custom is a little heavy but it is a great, very versatile guitar.
