Basshole
Just curious, something to light on fire/break/throw in the crowd/Peter townsen on.
djroge1
If you're going to do it, do it right and burn an R9 or even an original '59.
Californiaman
My buddy usually smashes a Squire Stratocaster during his Hendrix performances. He's in a band called Stone Free and well... that's what he does.
RichCI
With the exception of performers like Californiaman's friend doing a Hendrix routine, I see little point in breaking guitars these days; it's become a bit of a rock and roll cliche at this point. Once when I saw KISS, Paul Stanley ran to the side of the stage towards the end of the song, grabbed another guitar and then smashed it which just looked cheesy and contrived (and I'm a KISS fan). AXE®
Be original. Don't smash. Build a new one and impress me.

Cruznolfart
I despise that contrived crap! Might as well wear spandex and feather boas and swing from a trapeze over the audience. Yeah, yeah, it's "part of the experience". Wouldn't it be novel if you went to a concert and experienced nothing but the music?
