Sheepdog1969
Tman, your charity work for Alzheimer research is defiantly a Mitzva. I lost my mother to Frontal lobe dementia just over a year ago. It appears that it runs in females on my mom's side of the family, My mom's mother died from it years ago, and her sister now has it. My daughter understands her risks and is understandably concerned. Interestingly, yesterday my daughter [who was "rushing" sororities at the University of Alabama], was accepted by Sigma Kappa. Their primary philanthropy is focused on raising money for Alzheimer research. You're doing Yeoman's work, my friend. Good luck performing with that awesome double neck, and Thanks from my entire family.

Rain Song is killer on a 12 string but you gotta tune both to a Gsus4 chord. Plus playing Zep never sounds right live due to Jimmy multi tracking his guitars. I just finished a book called Outlive by Peter Attia about longevity. Of the 4 major chronic illness that end up killing 98% of people, neurodegenerative disease is one of them. Seems like we are on the verge of really promising treatments.
duane v
I have a 76 and I never play it. 1. it's heavy 2. it's ultra neck heavy. 3. The upper fret access on the six string is awful. But it's nice to look at

Fields I just quoted something from William Claude the other day to Mrs and we chuckled a lot. We watched all of his when we were kids, they were on the other, weird channels on the Quasar, the UHF. VHF. Onea them. Turner Classic doesn't seem to have his films, or at least not showing them in recent years. Periods of Marx Brothers are great, but not so much with the WC. rct

fortyearspickn
If you google his quotes - they give you a dozen subjects to narrow your search down: women, liquor, water, Philly, children... even 'inspiration'. Like "Start each day with a smile. That way you can get over it right away." Edited August 22 by fortyearspickn

He threatened his birthplace to put a parting shot put on his tombstone: "All things considered, I'd rather be in Philadelphia." Water? Even more shots: "I don't drink water because fish ____ in it." A few different nasty things - I guess depending on the audience. And "As a gardener, I hope to raise my orange trees by watering them with gin. That way, I only have to squeeze the juice into my glass."
saturn
TMan. Ditto for what the others said about you. Putting your time in for a good charity and all that. Plus, congratz on a cool guitar. I look forward to seeing the footage of you playing it.
