Raf Gibsonian
Hi there fellow Epiphone lovers.. 😊🎵🎸 I just got an Epiphone ES Dot 335 VS and it came with No serial Number, the pickguard has no logo, and no logo on the truss rod cover either. The seller said it was verified by Gibson as genuine at the time he got it and thinks it is from Korea but not sure as he got it years ago from a Guitarist who previously bought it in Liverpool before 2007 and has no contact. I'd love to know where it was made and when. Can anyone help? Please see images. Thanks so much in advance. Raf.
Larsongs
Ask him for the proof he received. Call Gibson and ask them if they produced Epiphone Guitars without Serial numbers. Most Epi Dots were/are made in China.
rct
I'm sorry you bought a guitar with no serial number and now you want to find out about it, which nobody can do without the serial number. rct
Sgt. Pepper
That is the rarest Epi ever built. Get ahold of Joe Bonamassa right now and offer it to him for half a mil. Not sure why someone would fake a $600 guitar, but you might have one. Raf Gibsonian
Thank you so much everyone for your comments. There's an official Gibson center here in London and also Denmark street, the legendary guitar corner, so I will take it around there and see what they say. Cheers.
jdr1014
I am not that familiar with Epiphones.  Will be interested to hear what you find out.
