RIP Dame.

If you're a football fan, Mercury Morris passed away a few days ago. He was on the only undefeated NFL team ever.

Oh man, I missed that news.
Very sad.

I was a big Dolphins fan, and really loved the glory days of Schula, Mercury Morris, Larry Csonka, Jim Kiik, Nick Buoniconti, Jake Scott, Earl Morrall, and the rest.

I raced motocross with number 39 (Csonka's number), and flew the last 15 years of my flying career with EVAL 39 as my Callsign.

Rest in peace, Mr. Morris.
🥲

I was a kid when they had that team, but they were my favorite, the only other players I remember other than what was on your list was Larry Little and Paul Warfield.

I did some amateur motorcycle road racing up until a few years ago (didn't start till I was 44) I chose #129, named after a famous highway in Deals Gap North Carolina.

It has 318 turns in 11 miles.

Were you a commercial pilot? My dad owned a little Piper Cherokee when I was a kid, great memories.
