bluzhammer
Gentlemen, I have officially named my LP, the deal is engraving the truss rod cover. I have had one done already and it came out dark gray. I have called CS at Gibson and the guy says that Gibby sends out for their TRCs that are engraved. Any suggestion as to where I can obtain a TRC engraved that shows out in white would be greatly appreciated.

bluzhammer
Thanks, that is exactly who I have used. Obviously, Gibson doesn't want to give up who's doing the actual TRC work.

NeoConMan
I had mine done locally by a laser engraver. You need to buy the "Historic" truss rod cover if you buy your own. The black top laminate is thinner than the regular production piece, so it's easier to cut thru and reveal the white underneath. Never used an online outfit, but I'm sure they're fine. I like standing there watching mine get done....
