I wanted to do a basic setup on my lc 3,when i got to the truss rod i was a little surprised how easy it was to turn the truss rod.I am a worried there might be a problem with it moving so easy.Whenever i have done this other guitars it has taken a little force to move the rod. thanks#-o

Not to sound like a "company man" but it's been my experience that Gibson truss rods work very well and are generally very easy to turn. Unlike Pac Rim imports, a 1/4 turn will usually make a large change in the relief of the neck. Often 1/8 turn is all that's needed.

I can think of a few possibilities: 1. Someone lubricated the threads under the nut so it turns more easily than your other guitars. 2. The truss rod is broken and turning the nut has no effect. 3. Someone left the truss rod extremely loose and you'll have to tighten quite a bit for it to engage.

What I would look for is: does tightening or loosening the nut affect the curvature of the neck (and the action)?
