Maple fretboard Finish on 2022 pacer classic

What kind of finish is on the maple fretboard of a Kramer pacer classic? It almost looks unfinished but I suspect it might be a thin satin finish, maybe nitro cellulose or urethane. Anyone know for sure?

Thanks for the information, GibSinCity,. The pacer classic I'm asking about is the recent models made in China, but the information about vintage models sounds like it might be relevant so I'll check it out.
