GibsonG Posted November 26 Posted November 26 I got my hands on this Gibson The Paul II. It has a maple fretboard which is the reason I bought it. I did lots of research and haven't found any photos this model with a maple fretboard. Only RAW POWER and some custom models I believe have maple fingerboards. Looking for any information on this. Is it legit? https://i.postimg.cc/qMTVTrBh/IMG-20241126-155219.jpg Quote
Sgt. Pepper Posted November 27 Posted November 27 (edited) Never seen that. My first electric was a ‘79-ish Firebrand The Paul. I think it was walnut? Is it a flat slab like The Paul’s we’re? Edited November 27 by Sgt. Pepper Quote
GibsonG Posted November 27 Author Posted November 27 It's exactly the same as other "The Paul II" models. Thin body with a tummy cut contour. Serial number says it's a 1996 Quote
