RichCI
I'll be the first nerd to admit it - I named some of my guitars, my favorites anyway. They're named after classic actresses. Gibson Les Paul Custom (ebony) - "Vivien Leigh" Gibson SG Junior (red) - "Ann Margaret" Fender 52 RI Telecaster (butterscotch blond w/ blackguard) - "Faye Dunaway" Fender 57 RI Stratocaster (two tone burst) - "Raquel Welch" To anyone who is listening in the vicinity, I refer to them as "Les Paul," "SG," "Tele" and "Strat" respectively but, in my head, I have them associated with those actresses. 'Fess up, people! /geek

RichCI
Cool. What made me start this thread is that I saw that a lot of people referred to their guitars as "her" and "she" so it got me wondering. I also have a Reverend Slingshot named "Dennis" but that's what the original owner named it so it just stuck (cool guitar, btw).

matiac
Absolutely. The Gibster's Homer, and the Epi's the Blue Bomber. The SG was Big Red, The Telecaster was Telly (Savalas), my acoustic's No Name, cuz it has no identifying mark((s) anywhere, that's about it. EDIT: i'm naming her aria, i looked through a website with baby names apparently it means melody which is quite fitting.

Gibson CS
i dont refer to my guitars with names but i know they all have a soul, and a personality, so i guess im equally crazy haha but really i think of a guitar more like say a racing horse, use it , love it , cherish it, then when its done its job, relish it yea
