VBB
Hey all, I got up the nerve to set the intonation. The instructions say to strum the open string, then it says to 'pick' the string on the 12th fret and strum it. I assume they meant to 'fret' it at the 12 fret and strum. The first two strings high e and b string went well. Then I tried to do the g string and it would flash and the # would flash for a second and then the g lights blue saying it's intonated correctly, but I can turn it all the way front or back and it does the same thing - it turns before you can even see what it indicates. then I did the big three strings and it says that I should turn counter clockwise 8 to 10 half turns, but the bridge doesn't go back that far. Even if I bottom it all the way back, it still says to go back 10 more half turns. Anyone have a problem with theirs or anyone have success with theirs? jimmyree
I too found the intonation mode frustrating, I think the problem is the sensitivity to fretting the note and strumming the string. I found after several tries I could find the sweet spot that it seems to like and then it gave me pretty accurate readings but going from string to string always caused some issues. When it started giving me indications I didnt like I would exit the intonation mode and then go back in and start with the string I left off on, that seemed to help sometimes. The last time I checked my intonation I just went ahead and did it the old fashioned way.
