lpguy
Hello folks, there`s 2 things I`d like to ask you: 1)I`ve been told that by replacing the capacitor of the tone poti you could alter the sound- getting a better treble response from the pu`s. If it`s true, which capacitor do I need? 2) Truss rod: tightening it means a bigger "bow" and loosening it would straighten it a bit??? Thanks in advance

loneguitar
Just a bit of info, the Sprague orange drop caps with higher voltage were very common in older TV's especially RCA circa, 70's, find an old repair shop and ask to go through there chassis, you'll be amazed at the treasures you'll find.
