G3sal
I just picked up a used, excellent condition, oxblood R4 reissue, essentially the Jeff Beck Les Paul. A buddy of mine who works at Guitar Center and also sold me the guitar called some folks at Gibson with the serial and asked about it, and they said it was an early 90's. Does anyone know when these guitars first ran as reissues? Also, what kind of pickups are in the 90's era ones? I see that Gibson still makes them, but with different pickups.... Any info is greatly appreciated.
Raptor
It was mid to late 90's when they started making them. They would have had 57 Classics in them back then.
G3sal
Thanks for the info, Raptor. I was wondering, because I had never seen a production Les Paul like that. Good to know [-X/
