wicked1
Yes, we loaded up our gear and headed out Saturday night! The weather was iffy, so the show was cancelled about halfway through breaking everything down. Homz went to pick up the kids at his mom's house and as soon as he got home, the sun came out and the show was back on! Not a lot of people there, but it gave us a chance--ok, let's be honest. It gave the *boys* a chance to load everything up, haul it, and reassemble it. Was an outdoor gig so we had a lot of wind to deal with, but the guy hosting everything did get some video & audio recordings so hopefully he will use it to help us get some *paying* work! Sounded pretty good and we even had a special request to re-do "Red House" so that they could get a good recording of it. (Everyone loved how that one came out). So, all in all, not a bad night and we definitely had some fun hanging out with the guys from the other band!

Swmcv2007
Outside gigs are fun but there's always some type of hassle regarding the weather or electricity. Glad to hear everything went well.
Homz
My assessment of the jam is slightly different then Wicked1's. I thought we sucked in the first set. The second set went better, especially "Red House". We set up the gear spread to far apart and thus I couldn't hear Matt (guitar), or Pj (bass). All I could hear is keyboards. The PA speaker was 5 feet from my head. I couldn't even hear my own guitar unless I was standing directly in front of my Vox. Even with the above problems some really liked what we did. As for recordings. I don't know what happened, but my H4 Zoom recorder screwed up and I didn't get any audio recordings. We didn't get any video recordings either. The person Wicked1 asked to run the recorder was evidently not informed to push the little record button. All that said. We still kicked the arse of the other band that was there. They were nice folks and fun to shoot the sh1t with, but we blew em away.
