G u e s t
. . Damn. No option for every single one of the above and then some..... So, erm..... Zep 1. Those were good times to catch them live OR on that record.
Swmcv2007
I voted 1 because it's the only Zeppelin album that I *might* listen to in its entirety again.

The Mick
CODA isn't really a proper band studio album more of an out takes ect...
Jayla
Well, I haven't listened to these guys for years. Heard 'em first time around, some songs (like -- *yawn* --"Stairway" and "Rock and Roll") ad nauseum, and I don't know if I just got sick of 'em or grew up and out of it, but today their stuff doesn't do much for me. They had some great numbers to be sure, and everybody's got their personal faves. My favorite LP was "Houses of the Holy." It seemed less pretentious to me than a lot of their other stuff, plus I liked the odd humor and quirkiness of some of the songs like "Dancing Days" "The Ocean," and "The Rain Song" and "Over the Hills..." are nice numbers. They'd probably get s*** for the cover today, what with all those naked little girls and stuff. Oh, and I don't consider them "mighty gods" -- they were just a really good band. Though I definitely thought they were s**** for ripping off some of the old blues numbers they covered w/out crediting the actual song writers. BIGBENDS
What about The Song Remains The Same & CODA? I have to say they are all kick asss, but I'll vote for Physical Graffiti because it's a Double LP. More to love and Page does some exceptional work on that album. Anyone love Zeppelin's version of I Can't Quit You Baby from CODA as much as I do? Duende
At the moment Led Zeppelin 3 is my favourite Zeppelin album, I love the folky feel of that album. To me they will always be the greatest rock and roll band in the world. A common (and cliche) moan is that Jimmy Page was sloppy. Yes live he could be, but he took risks and dared to always push and push, when it worked he weaved magic. Not many guitarists are that brave anymore. Not to mention he didn't hide behind tonnes of effects or distortion. Matt

Gilliangirl
I'm not voting because I honestly can't choose..... they all have merit to me. I loved Phys Graf when it first came out and played it over and over, but got sick of it pretty fast. Bottom line? I really loved all of them. Homz
Damn! I like em all. I know many people like the early Zep. I love em all. Few bands go through a progressive change as dramatic as Zep and still keep all their fans.
FirstMeasure
You can tell this is a poll targeting Guitar Players, Zeppelin 2 is beating Zeppelin 4. It's hard to Choose my favorite, it's a matter of Mood and "What Hasn't Been Listened To In A While?" Based on Length and Diversity Of Content I'd ahve to go with Physical Graffiti. rjay777
This is like trying to choose which Hawaiin Tropics girl to take home after a show. Here's my 2-way tie.... Led Zep II ( the stuff that made me wanna be a guitarist) Led Zep 4 ( imo this was their masterpiece. every song was brilliant and unique)
bol316
Hard to pass on 4. It has my fav 2 Zep songs (Going to California and When The Levee Breaks). Four Sticks, Battle Of Evermore and Stairway are top 10s for me too.

BIGBENDS
it was a sound check' date=' but yes, it is quite nice i only put the "real" studio albums[/quote'] It was just a simple question. No need to get defensive, buddy. It was obvious what you did, yet CODA had 8 songs on it, 7 of which had not been released previously. So why not include it? It has merit. The Song Remains The Same was released at the height of their career, and sure it included some of their best songs from their studio albums to that point, but the were improvisational versions which oozed a whole new feel. Yes, Page isn't the most technically accurate player, but since much of his tone achieved through pure volume, you hear every little mistake he makes. I can even hear his pick clicking on the strings sometimes, it's that pure. Most other rock guitarist mask a lot of mistakes with saturation/gain.
