Tim Plains
When I was R9 shopping last year, Alto Music had the cheapest list prices of any US dealer I contacted.
Flight959
Never been there but in CT there is Daddy's Junky Music; I used to live there. Hey while in NYC why not take a left turn and drive my way... Oh dont forget we drive on the correct side of the road... lol For someone that used to drive here in one of the finest cars ever made I'm sure you would agree, its the right side of the road.... Ha ha ha Regards

Flight959
I'm in the fortunate position that It cost's me less to fly over the pond than it does to get a 14 mile taxi fare home from London and for that reason I fly around all over. I will soon have enough hard cash together to buy the reissue I have long been clucking for and what would be nice would be to fly across and spend the weekend doing the usual stuff whilst looking for my next guitar. As I have two summer holidays booked, I wont be coming until Late September where me and my wife Zoe will be staying for a long weekend... saturn
I haven't been to NYC in years, but my wife went last year and got me a shirt from what she said was a huge music store called Rudy's.
cdntac
30th Street Guitars ( http://www.30thstreetguitars.com/home.html ) is a pretty good shop. I was in NYC last month and visited Manny's (and the others along that street) and 30th Street Guitars. I thought the 30th Street Guitars had the best used selection. They had some great old SGs, LPs and others. They're not open Sundays though (as I found out on a Sunday!).

eltonwce
Rudy's and Manny's are across the street from each other. Manny's is going out of business may not be there now. I was there in March. Rudy's has mainly high end and custom. Close to Times square.
