Minor mod to my Junior

I own a Les Paul Nashville Junior from the 2007 "Guitar of the Week" series (which was actually built in 2008... don't ask). The unique feature that makes it a Nashville Junior is the pickguard based on the "Floral & Vine" design from the J200 acoustic.

When I first saw one in photos, I wasn't too keen on the pickguard. Once I saw it in person, it was actually pretty cool. The problem is that I play the guitar quite a bit and don't want to wear off the design. A couple of months ago, I was ordering a pickguard to install P90s into my Flying V and decided for another 20 bucks, I'd get a replacement guard for the Junior. Rather than go with plain black, I decided to spice things up and go with a 3-ply tortoise guard...

I really like the floral with the black and white. Almost a tuxedo kind of look. Good for you thinking ahead to make sure it stays nice. I've never seen a (Gibson) guitar with tortoise on white - so it's still a unique look. =D>
