Sorry... Another 'fake' thread...

I'm no expert either but the shape looks a little bit off to me, a big long and thin. Of course that could just be the angle of the photo. One thing i've noticed is that the pickup selector switches on real Gibsons are smooth to use- almost cushioned. Fakes/copies tend to have very 'clicky' switches. Of course I could be talking bullsh*t- i'm a player, not a collector. Is there a serial number on it?

Oooo. That's a nice fake. Buy it for $1.99 an proceed to break it into tiny pieces. Some lighter fluid and a match and you have the beginnings of a nice bonfire. Don';t forget the marshmallows.

that would look good from the audience...

Like this guy like totally smashed his guitar and burned it,,, wow.. awsome.

I've had a reply from the seller, and he's said he'll take it back to the shop he bought it from.

Something doesn't quite sit right though, because he said he'd swap it for a Schecter Synyster Standard, which are only £650 ($1000) new, and as we all know, this particular LP (when genuine) is worth a hell of a lot more...

If you can be bothered it would be an idea to alert the local Boys in Blue as the seller/dealer will probably try the same stunt out on someone else.

Bit of a hassle, though...
