Yours has a Nashville Schaller bridge - so its after 1975

I suspect you have a 1975 LP Deluxe in Tobacco Brown Sunburst

Is Neck Maple or Mahogany? They went Maple in late '77.

I own a '73 LP standard - identical color - but came with ABR-1, Large Humbuckers - I swapped for speed knobs.

Very nice guitars, guys!

Gibson USA, Gibson Acoustic, Gibson Memphis

- From 1975-1977 the number is typically found on a decal on the back of the headstock. This should be an 8 digit number that can be dated by the 1st and 2nd digits as follows:

99 = 1975

00= 1976

06 = 1977

- In 1977, Gibson introduced the serialization method that we primarily use to this day at Gibson USA, Gibson Acoustic, and the Gibson Custom facility in Memphis, TN.

I agree with Are Nine. I have a 1976 Deluxe (much the same as yours RedfishRich) that I bought back in '77 (I replaced the mini humbuckers though). The Serial Number begins with 00. I also agree with AN, nice Guitars guys!!!!!

Re guitar dater project

I enter my LP Standard S/N 122749

It says :

Your guitar was made at the

Kalamazoo or Nashville Plant , USA

approximately in: 1970, 1971 or 1972

That is wrong

Its Kalamazoo, 1973

And

The Nashville Plant was not even built until 1974
