AXE® Posted May 26, 2009 Posted May 26, 2009 After watching footage of our fighting and fallen servicemen and women this weekend I had this Idea come to mind. For those serving and those who have served. A somber Tribute to all of our people in uniform and all they give so we can be who we are. (And you know who you are.) The original title was Death March. But in honor of those who make it home safe I rewrote it to suit. It's times like this I wish I could sing. Done on the Explorer for Caliman. Walk Through Hell.
Californiaman Posted May 26, 2009 Posted May 26, 2009 AXE®, you are so very talented. That was amazing. I'm very impressed with that track. In my head I can hear a bass playing along with that. I have the perfect bass part for that. Got to hear it again before I turn in. Great melody. I loved it.
MikeRom Posted May 26, 2009 Posted May 26, 2009 Nicely done Ax. You need to hook up with a lyrisist, then you'd really have something here -
ChanMan Posted May 26, 2009 Posted May 26, 2009 Actually, AXE is a fine lyricist as well, if what he has posted here is any indication. Thanks for yet another excellent backing track to jam to.
myspace.com/jessenoah Posted May 26, 2009 Posted May 26, 2009 i bet some fiddle (violin) would sound really good in that track
AXE® Posted May 26, 2009 Author Posted May 26, 2009 Yeah you can do some "weaving" within there that's for sure.
callen3615 Posted May 26, 2009 Posted May 26, 2009 Very cool axe. Probably the best song I heard today.
