Squeezie
I am currently supping up my Epiphone LP Standard; new frets, new pickups, maybe add another pickup and such. However I was stuck on one item: the machine heads. I was debating on either a set of the Schaller ST6K or any Kluson. I really enjoy the vintage look but i do have a price range; I'd like to keep it around $50 or lower. I don't know much about either ones and I'd like some opinions with experience. LPguitarman
Can't go wrong with Klusons (Vintage Tulip) or Grover.
dmeds
Don't those already come standard with 18:1 Grovers? Personally I prefer the vintage look of Kluson, however, many say that locking Grovers not only work well but add to tone/sustain.
Squeezie
Yeah they do come with grovers however one of the ****in things, i think it was the g or b string, is stripped. I don't kno if they give more tone/ sustain
Squeezie
If any tone or sustain is added from using the grovers, i don't think it would be much anyway.
