Tom Hollyer
Thought some of you might like to see some nice old Gibson basses. I know they are not that popular, but I dig 'em. L to R, 1954 EB, 1959 EB-2N, 1959 EB-2, 1960 EB-

pohatu771
I've never had a chance to play an EB-2 or Rivoli, but I'd like to... I'm not a huge Fender (or solidbody in general) bass fan. Are they semi-hollow or fully?

rd_artist
did you do any mods to those basses? I think I see banjo tuners on all of them and the pickup covers look like bakelite usually found on the EB-
rd_artist
I should have read the description, the EB-2s are 1959 vintage.
davie garden
Nice basses, I'm not realy a bass man but I do have a Gibson Les Paul bass which is brand new and a Baldwin Jazz bass from 1964 amomg my gear collection. Baldwin bought out the Burns of London company and essentially just rebranded the guitars. What's cool about the Baldwin bass is that it's got three rezomatic pickups so the tone variation is immense and there is a[cool] tone control selector knob with four tone options (apart from using pickup selection for tone) and one of the four tone options is called, 'wild dog', cool eh?
