fast fret Posted May 29, 2009 Posted May 29, 2009 A Gibson SG standard, early 70s. It's at my local auction house and only £600 (that's like SG special money) It's pretty beat up and i've not even played it through an amp. But it looks AMAZING! there's some rust tho:/ and has a tremlo arm that seems fragile (might just be me) The lacker is cracking, is that bad? The auction isn't untill june 27th so i'll have time to look more closely. Just give me your initial thoughts!
Corrosion of conformity Posted May 29, 2009 Posted May 29, 2009 Go for it! that sounds like a great price, and if you can afford it, why not?
fast fret Posted May 29, 2009 Author Posted May 29, 2009 I'm worried about how reliable it would be! in terms of it just breaking
