jason Posted May 30, 2009 Share Posted May 30, 2009 i recently brought a brand new gibson sj200.it was fitted with a fishman aura ellipse sound imaging pickup at the gibson factory from new.ive been on the fishman website and you can download sound imaging via a usb in the pickup.i contacted gibson and they said that even though the pickup has a usb and the controls and buttons for this facility,it has been preset so you cant use the facility as its factory fitted.if you brought the pickup on its own it would have the facility to do what it says,as the guitar cost me £2400 i think its crazy that you can only use half the pickups facilitys.does anyone know a way around this ? rar Posted May 30, 2009 Share Posted May 30, 2009 If it already has an SJ-200 image for a mic you like, I'm curious why you'd want any more? It's not like an Aura is an effects box.
