Californiaman Posted May 30, 2009 Posted May 30, 2009 A gay Los Angeles school boy was elected prom queen. I feel sorry for the girls who ran against him. She cried in her mothers arms, "I lost to a gay guy."
KSG_Standard Posted May 30, 2009 Posted May 30, 2009 Why prom QUEEN and not prom king? I don't get it...
Homz Posted May 30, 2009 Posted May 30, 2009 perhaps it was done out of spite. Maybe no one like the girl and this was a way to make her look like a mean little pain in the a$$ as other might have felt. maybe
Homz Posted May 30, 2009 Posted May 30, 2009 I went to my after prom with my cousin (male). My prom date pissed me off so much that I dropped her off at her home and picked my cousin. I still had two tickets and we had fun.

SHO Posted May 30, 2009 Posted May 30, 2009 perhaps it was done out of spite. Maybe. I think the "hey look at us. We've come so far, free from all prejudice and my oh my aren't we all so special as well? Wooo!" factor shouldn't be ignored either.
Corrosion of conformity Posted May 30, 2009 Posted May 30, 2009 Wow, leave it to a homo to take away prom queen from some nice girl...Well, I hope he enjoys being remembered as the *** who ruined prom.
HiLifeRocker Posted May 30, 2009 Posted May 30, 2009 Don't blame the "winner" - the students voted him in.
Californiaman Posted May 30, 2009 Author Posted May 30, 2009 Not only did he win by a landslide, he openly promoted the fact that he is gay and wanted to be Prom Queen. Wonder how the gay community feels about this?
myspace.com/jessenoah Posted May 30, 2009 Posted May 30, 2009 maybe i am just old fashioned if the quarterback of the football team always F**Ks the prom queen, what does that make the quarterback?
James Allen Posted May 30, 2009 Posted May 30, 2009 Don't blame the "winner" - the students voted him in. Shows how the kids today will go along with anything.
bol316 Posted May 30, 2009 Posted May 30, 2009 See, this crap is where I draw the line. I dont care how princessy, flaming gay you are, you are still a man. Therefore its king or nothing. This is just ridiculous. I draw the line at people denying who and what they are. You are a man, men are kings, not queens. Dont get me going on how stupid the idea of prom "king and queen" is either. How liberal is that Neo?
wicked1 Posted May 30, 2009 Posted May 30, 2009 Shows how the kids today will go along with anything. Or maybe it shows how kids today don't subscribe to our "traditional" ideas of gender roles. I knew a few gay men in high school who would've been thrilled to be named "Prom Queen" or "Prom King." I think it's great that a teen is secure enough in his identity to even run for "queen." Obviously the kids in his school didn't have a problem with his sexual orientation or they would've voted for a girl for queen.
Homz Posted May 30, 2009 Posted May 30, 2009 Perhaps this is the precipices of of great changes to come. I welcome them. Chang is good.
Californiaman Posted May 30, 2009 Author Posted May 30, 2009 Oh yeah, time for the anything-goes lifestyle.
The Mick Posted May 30, 2009 Posted May 30, 2009 Perhaps this is the precipices of of great changes to come. I welcome them. Chang is good. Eye like Chang's they have a spicy pepper sauce.
KSG_Standard Posted May 31, 2009 Posted May 31, 2009 P.F. Chang's double pan fried noodles, lettuce wraps and mongolian beef...Holy Crap! It's good stuff. We use to live close to the Chang's on I25 in Denver, we ate there alot. We don't have a P.F. Chang's within a hundred miles of us here...I miss the heck out of the place.
