23miles Posted June 1, 2009 Posted June 1, 2009 I can't seem to find the CS-336 on the revamped Gibson website. Is it still in production?
PP_CS336 Posted September 22, 2010 Posted September 22, 2010 I can't seem to find the CS-336 on the revamped Gibson website. Is it still in production? 23miles, Hi! As far as I can tell from this URL... http://www2.gibson.com/Products/Electric-Guitars/Archtop/Gibson-Custom.aspx, it still is. Under that URL you should be able to see the CS-336. Click on it and it will give you the full description. If you can't find any in you local guitar shops, then see if you can do a Special Order through them or directly from Gibson, if you like what you see. I was fortunate to find one at my local guitar shop (Alto Music in Middletown, NY) and try it out hands on before I bought it. I didn't go there with the intent to buy that specific guitar, but once I got my hands on it and played it, I fell in love with it. Since, at the time, I had just received my bonus from work, I had the available cash and took the plunge. I have no regrets. :) The CS-336 is a very fine guitar. I've gotten lots of compliments on both its looks and its sound. The band noticed right away when I started using it for our gigs.
