So, a woman at work brings in a digital Blood Pressure meter the other day, to check an elderly womans blood pressure.

Somehow, I get picked..... (it's a gift....)

Guess what? The whole place is freakin' out, and I have a Dr's appointment.......

I don't go to the Dr., and have no idea what these numbers mean, but am guessing, they're bad?

So, your blood pressure is a little high...it doesn't sound like your heart is about to explode or anything...Your dr. may put you on some BP meds, make sure you get the meds that don't affect your manhood...High blood pressure is nothing to mess around with brother...If you haven't been to the dr. in a while, maybe you should schedule yourself for a complete physical, including the colon cancer tests...

Mine's usually 120/80' date=' same as it was when I was 18. Here's a site that explains the ranges of readings.

Thanks pal.

I feel better now. I really don't know anything about this stuff. I probably had a salty hash brown breakfast, and was working.

Again....

Thanks.....

Thanks a lot A$$hole......

My wife did it.

This is why I avoid Dr.'s.

They ask questions, and probe......

Next week I'll be posting about how I'm going to die. My theory of ignoring a problem and it will go away has worked for many, many years.....

Sleep well, KSG, sleep well.................

:-

(I'm kidding, thanks, ya'll.)

Cough. Sputter. Fart.....

Burp..........

Murph. (AIN'T STROKED OUT YET).............

Hi Murph,

You may also be able to manage it back into the safe zone with regular strenuous exercise and minimal or no reliance on drugs. This will cause you to lose weight and strengthen your heart. Just something to discuss with your doctor.

Joining a gym made a big difference to me.

ACE inhibitors are not known to affect your manhood but certain diuretics might.

By the way, you are now on the medical radar. Welcome to the early stages of being an old fart. And KSG is right; don't ignore it. Hypertension is called the silent killer for a good reason.

I went to my doctor a few weeks ago because the tinituss in my left ear was bad . He checked my ears and said they were ok so he checked my blood pressure and it was up a little , Im 45 and under pressure /work/ family /money/ life / what guitar to buy next you name it, his advice was cut out the crap , cut back on salt and eat beetroot or drink beetroot juice as much as I want so ive been eating and drinking plenty. Down side or up side is that my urine looks like ribena or blackcurrent cordial. How rock n roll is that.
