Thundergod
Hi, i have seen pictures of a guy with a 12 string les paul and was wondering when they were made and if they were les pauls or had a different name...
littlekenny
well i found some info on a harmony central review, i dunno if that's it but here's the link it says that it's called the "Samick Artist Series" designed like '59 Les Paul, 2-piece mahogany body. Though i google'd it and no 12-string LP came up.

Raptor
I believe the Custom Shop has made 12 string LPs as custom orders in the past. They never were a regular production item.
Thundergod
thanks raptor, i was starting to think that because i couldnt find them anywere... so if i was to order one, it should be very expensive eh? maybe its better to just go of and buy a doubleneck sg if i want a 12 string electric... jsmidt
Very rare. Custom build on request, I believe. Warren Haynes has one. He uses it on "So Weak, So Strong" on the High and Mighty disc. He used it live on the High and Mighty tour. Played slide on it too. Very cool sound. He talks about it here - http://www.modernguitars.com/archives/002403.html Plays it here
Raptor
Yeah Thundergod, if and when they start doing custom orders once more, it would probably be at least twice the price of a 1275.
NeoConMan
Yeah, I was gonna say Warren Haynes. I've seen a few around, I bet the price would be $6,000 at the very least. It would have to come out of the Custom Shop, that automatically means $$$. There were regular production 335 12 strings years ago, late sixties, early seventies. I see 'em on Ebay now and then. My dealer sold a few back in the day. Now, a 12 string SG, THAT'S a rare critter!
Ian Martin
here you have a pic man... dont know why it looks like taken from a mirror Damnit, that bastard Slash WOULD have one. That guy has everything. He must have whole plant dedicated to making him sweet guitars.
