eightiesbaby80
Is anyone a fan? What genre of music would you put this in if you could? I checked out the http://www.yanni.com website and watched a couple of videos and, man, this is very creative music! I like the incorporation of electronic music and classical music. I think they'll be in L.A. on the 23rd of June. I'm going to check them out.

eldiablo
I know of Yanni, back in the 90's he had some main stream success, his music was classified under "New Age" at that time. I worked at music store back then and I remember his CD package being one of the 1st to be made out of all cardboard. I remember seeing a DVD Yanni Live at the Acropolis. good stuff. He was married to Linda Evans for a bit there. Younger man older woman, Not my cup of tea but he is obviously a great musician and an amazing composer. daveinspain
Yeah I remember him from from back in the 80's... He was best known because he was dating Linda Evens. She used to have a staring roll in the series Dynasty. I sort of discounted him because she was much older than him and she was pushing his career and had all the conections. I thought he was a gigolo.
