Geoffrey Lawton
Well... Just before we were so rudely interupted, I put up this post. I bought the new version of the White Album and inside the info section are 2 pix that I've never seen before (maybe you have). One shows George playing a 'burst SJ200 and another shows him playing an LP (how often did he do that?). BTW - the remastering is FAB, imho. G. Oo oooo oooo I'll answer that! George's LP "Lucy" was used in many Beatles recordings. It is a '57 LP Standard that was given to George by Eric Clapton. You can read about it here. The burst J200 was used on "Here Comes the Sun". You can read about it on John Crowley's pages here.

albertjohn
I listened to Bob Harris today while doing some wallpapering and he interviewed the 2 engineers responsible for digitising the music. He played "You're Gonna Lose That Girl" from their first album and it sounded fantastic. The whole catalogue has been digitally remastered. I only have 1 Beatles cd, "Love" but this could change soon.
