icantbuyafender
Does anyone know of a source where a new pair of the pickup mounting brackets inside the LP Deluxe's pickup cavitiy can be found? Or instructions on how to make new ones... or any that can be donated, and or sold... Thanks!
LPguitarman
Try Antique Electronic Supply. They carry many vintage guitar parts.
lpdeluxe
I've never seen these for sale. I have a Deluxe, and changed out the pickups a couple of years ago (the bridge pu had very low output, so I replaced then boith with Seymour Duncan SM-1s, which sound very similar). I suspect you'll have to find an experienced tech who can fabricate the brackets. They are essentially bent strips of metal, with threaded tabs to carry the pickup screws, and are attached to the bottom of the cavity with woods screws. An alternative might be the Jack o Roses rings. It's a shame there are so few pieces available for mini Deluxes -- I love mine. http://www.jackofroses.com/guitarparts/prmhs.html
