Blackie Posted September 20, 2009 Share Posted September 20, 2009 Am I correct that if you switch the wires from one pickup where it connects to the pot that when you have both pickups on that is what is called out of phase ? I am just experimenting with a G-400 here is a pic of the pups. Not sure what the lower pup would be similar to, I guess the other is epi's version of the 57 classic. Although normally you'd want to have a multi wire cable carrying the wires from each end of the pickup coils to a switch that alternately connects one wire to ground while the other becomes the signal wire.
