ben_sparky
Hi everyone, just a quick question. Would you rather the full pickguard just the half one on the SG and why? ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
NeoConMan
Why cover up all that beautiful Mahogany for no reason?
DiamondJig
I like the little wing, wood looks better than plastic and I hate the way the pickups line up with the string on the batwing.
tbonesullivan
Why cover up all that beautiful Mahogany for no reason? I have an ebony SG, so it's a moot point for me. I like the full pickguard. Just looks better on the black guitars.
jimmiJAMM
Have both—love both. Like my fingers, how can I pick a favorite? Oh, wait... okay... my middle one. [-(/
Blackie
Small and maybe none at all........thinking about how to switch to a small one on a Raw Power.
Andre S
I love guitarjunkie's SG, always have, always will. Its beautiful.. And the maestro sets it off nicely.
Laney1566
I love my batwings but admit to liking the smaller with mounting rings better. Wish the standard came that way.

deelaz
I like the small pickguard, it gives you the classic look. I ? to expose the wood grain without being covered by the pickguard.
SG dude
Nah, I LOVE the full batwing, it looks more rockin' to me! i also dont really like the pickup mounting rings, so the full batwing is perfect to me in every way, like i said in the poll (other one) i cant have an SG without one! Twiz
I dig the batwing. I kinda like the semi-clear pickguards they have on the Raw Power SG's too.

---NT---
Small and maybe none at all........thinking about how to switch to a small one on a Raw Power. Fully agreed. Such a shame that most SGs have bat-wings. Either small, or no pick guard looks best on SGs. Would love to get a cheap SG Faded and switch over to a small pick guard, but I believe there's extra routing that's covered up by the big pick guard. Lame.
