It's Septbember for crimany sake. Isn't it supposed to snow in them thar hills in September?

Global Warming and subsquent Global Cooling, and warming, and cooling and warming.... has been going on for eons. Long before 'we caused it.' Not much we can do to start or stop it, just adapt to it.

Oddly I'm some 400 miles or more north of Denver and although it's chilling a bit here at 3,100 feet, the high today still will be nearly 60F, the low slightly above 40F. Up the hill at roughly 5,000 feet, the temps will be a few degrees less today.

Odd weather patterns, perhaps, but... not at all unprecedented.

I just got a text from wife who works across town - about 3-5 miles away and it's snowing.

September in Denver.

Ugh, snow. Don't remind me.

Then again, as much as I dislike snow when it comes, in the couple of more or less snow free winters we've had I sort of missed it. At least over Christmas and New Years. After that it can just go the hell away.
